The originality of vegetation is expressed into many colours, contours and creation. Vegetation is also expressed by showing flexibility of nature’s look. Rural and reality go hand in hand.
Curator’s Comment
At first, this work appears to depict the still beauty of the landscape, but then the work reveals a dynamic distortion of the water in the foreground. It would be interesting to learn more about this visual juxtaposition via your artwork statement. It was interesting to read that this image was not digitally manipulated, which adds further interest to the outcome.
About the artist
Peter Van Der Veen came from the Netherlands and has lived in Australia since 1969. Loving nature gives him the drive to make photos and extend the experience. He is able to share his work by exhibiting in art shows. No photos are altered, or photo shopped. A Lumex camera / iPhone are used.
