This work represents the perspective of a risen phoenix looking from above, using a palate of blue tempest.
Describing hardship, difficulty, angst of transformation, death of what was known and normal through the tempest of change, to rebirth, doing life differently, finding calmer waters amidst constant change as we continue in the new normal.
About the artist
There is freedom for Reynolds in painting, a pure expression of imagination, paint & time. She began painting in 2002, taking lessons with a local group at Strathalbyn, a small South Australian farming town. Gaining exposure to many art forms, she settled on acrylic for its versatility & easy application.
