I recently visited bushfire areas in various areas including the Snowy Mountains and Gippsland.
So devastating, so sad, but where there was still colour in the trunks you could bet there’d be a smidgin of green here and there – hope lives on, Phoenix rises.
About the artist
McCormack is a landscape artist. For her the Australian landscape emanates majesty, grandeur and magic, it has elements of nurturing, mothering and widowing.
