Stevenson is a glass artist and inspired by the natural environment. She finds the shapes, forms, colours and textures infinitely fascinating. These provide endless possibilities as she experiments with using the qualities of glass to communicate her ideas and tell the stories of her encounters. A major focus in Meg’s work is the harnessing of the reflective and refractive qualities of glass to explore the nature of light in the landscape and its effect on the observer.
